Common printing questions
Everything you need to know before requesting your quote.
What is the difference between offset and digital printing?
Offset printing is cost-effective for high-volume runs and offers superior colour fidelity. Digital printing is ideal for shorter runs with faster turnaround and the flexibility of variable data printing. Where it makes sense, we'll quote both so you can compare.
How long does it take to receive a quote?
Our team typically reviews your specifications and provides a detailed, itemized quote within 24 business hours. Complex projects may need a little more time for technical assessment.
What should I provide for an accurate quote?
Knowing your trim size, page count, paper stock, binding and quantity helps us assess technical requirements. We generally prefer high-resolution PDFs with a 3mm bleed and CMYK colour profiles. If your project involves complex die-cuts or Pantone spot colours, mention it in your specifications.
Can I request a physical sample before placing a full order?
Yes. For large-scale publishing or packaging projects we often provide a digital proof or a physical mock-up (dummy) after the initial quote is approved, so you can verify paper weight, binding strength and dimensions before the final production run.
